āKoboldā is a small varietal of the Potentilla species. It is a bushy, deciduous shrub with a rounded growth habit with very small, dark-green pinnate leaves. Each leaf is approximately 1-2 cm in length.
Flowers are saucer-shaped and the petals are composed of a gentle Daffodil-like yellow colour. Each flower is approximately 2 to 3 cm in diameter. These flowers will persist throughout the warmer months, providing your garden with these wonderful yellow flowers.
Remove dead or unwanted branches at the end of the season or at the onset of spring. This plant does well in most soil types, as long as the soil remains moist. Although it is deciduous, it is full hardy and can withstand most temperatures in Europe.
As it is one of the more compact shrubs, it grows well as an accent in a flower bed. It is excellent for a patio and growing in a container where you can put it in a sheltered but sunny location.
